Our piece, Nature Was Here, incorporates Peter's sculpture and my drawings to create a narrative wildlife habitat populated by the vandalous visages of animals long gone from the now industrial are. We has been talking for years about doing a project together and it was cool to see something finally take shape. I think the challenges of painting this particular spot in the gallery really added to the concept of these animals being the artists in question.
